Prologue:

Tasogare Update #4

I’m going through a major rewrite of chapter 1. After checking out the “Natsuki’s Prelude” translated by apollyon_0 which
jaded088 had kindly supplied me, I’m making some major plot changes to the story. That means I’m rewriting the later parts of chapter one so 1. It’s more canon/in character. 2. It flows more smoothly 3. It makes more sense.

I’m cutting out the stuff about Natsuki’s father sending her a bike. I’m changing that to maybe absurd amounts of money and a rather annoying email that pissed her off. I’m not letting Natsuki forgive him that easily. So the later parts will be changed to fit that…I’m not sure how but I’m working on it now. I also added and cut so dialogue. That’s because some parts are too OoC and unnatural… I’ll get back to work now and hopefully I’ll post something up when I’m done.

Oh and starryheavens07 I might send you the rewritten part to edit…(later perhaps?). It’s a rather major change. Hope you’ll bare with me. Really, thanks for helping me, I’m forever in your debt.

Tasogare Update #3

This is what I’ve got so far for my prologue chapter. I will be on a hiatus till the half-yearly exams are over so I won’t be working on this for a while. I do hope that this chapter do have the panicky, suspense feeling I’m trying to get across. It’s sad that it’s cut off at the most crucial bit! Oh well, be back in 3 weeks?

One last piece to post on WordPress. This post contains spoilers for my fic so don’t read on if you don’t want the story to be spoiled. This was originally directed at a friend of mine who’s helping with the editing of my fic. Ah yes! This is originally posted before Tasogare Update #2 on my lj so it’s slightly out of order (chronologically) here… I edited the post time for Tasogare Update #2 so it’s in the order now.

“I have decided to actually write an entire chapter for the prologue… Since the 1st chapter is rather vague and doesnt really give anyone any idea what/how the story is gonna be like, i’ve decided to do a darker prologue that will be more closer to what the story really is about. I mean chapter 1 right now is just about when the main character arrive at Fuuka. But the prologue will show that this will be quite a violent vampire fic… plus semi introduce some characters/type of characters…. That poem i wrote/post (its friend locked) will appear at the end of the prologue and lead into chapter 1. Chapter 1 wont change but will give a feel that the things that are happening right now is a charade that is trying cover up the darker truth… It will take around a few chapters (3-4) before getting into the real thing…so i decided to give ppl a preview type of thing with my prologue.
